Appleton Village School is seeking a Physical Education teacher to join our Pre-K-8 school starting the 2024-2025 school year. This position also teaches 5th through 8th grade Health classes. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude and is flexible when needed.

Director of Special Services Opening

School Union 69, composed of the PreK-8 schools of Hope Elementary School, Appleton Village School and Lincolnville Central School in beautiful Midcoast Maine, is looking for a part-time Director of Special Services. This position will be .4 FTE for SY 24-25 and increase to .8 FTE for SY 25-26 and beyond. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is retired or who is at the beginning of their career, as the Superintendent will provide mentoring and training for the first year and share some of the responsibilities. We take great pride in our inclusive schools, and work as a team to ensure all students in need of special services are provided with equitable educational opportunities. This position requires a Maine 030 endorsement.

HAL Middle School Baseball Coach - Lincolnville Central School

The Lincolnville Central School is seeking a Baseball Coach. HAL is the combined team of students from the Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville schools. The successful candidate will have prior playing and/or coaching experience and will also demonstrate a coaching philosophy consistent with the philosophy of the Busline League and the Lincolnville School Department. A Maine Department of Education History Record Check (CHRC) is required. This is a stipend position.

Subs with a four year degree (or 90 hours of college towards a Bachelor's degree):  $150/day 

Subs without a four year degree:  $125/day
